About me
I’m Hamza. I lead Glovo in Morocco, the country’s largest tech marketplace. Before that, I spent five years as a strategy consultant at BCG in Casablanca.
I write about technology, business strategy, and how things actually work + whatever else is on my mind.
Writing is how I think. I’m naturally curious about too many things at once, and writing helps me channel that energy somewhere productive. It’s my way of separating the creative, exploratory part of my brain from the part that needs to focus and build. Ideas go here. Execution stays at work.
In 2021, I noticed a gap in thoughtful analysis of tech and business in our region. Most coverage was surface-level. So I started writing what I wanted to read.
